Asian Elders provides social contact for Asian Elders aged 55 and over, in the Gloucester area. Aims to increase awareness of statutory services available to the older asian community, and to help resolve any problems experienced by this group. Services offered include day care provision by Social Services, meals, social interaction, trips etc.
Currently all meetings and get togethers are held at weekends at Hatherley Road Day Centre. Tuesday 10am - 2pm fortnightly for Asian female carers, Thursdays 10am - 2pm for Asian female carers. Also Saturdays & Sundays 10am - 2pm. Private bookings can be taken.
