DISH provides free, confidential & impartial advice to all disabled people, those caring for them & professionals working in the field of disability. The service is run by volunteers most of whom are themselves disabled or have direct experience of disability & who are specially trained. Subjects dealt with include - welfare benefits, access, holidays, sport & leisure, special equipment, housing, education & employment, voluntary & self help groups etc. The office is open to visitors on Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs & Fri 10am - 1.30pm. Fri 9 am til 12 noon
We now provide also an information & advice serviceto parent, carers of disabled/ special needs Children.
