The Leicestershire Disabled Living Centre contains a permanent display of equipment promoting the independence and care of disabled people of all ages. The Information Service offers a free service on all aspects of disability with particular reference to equipment, clothing and footwear, and support groups for specific conditions. Courses and visits to the Centre can be arranged and training is regularly given to groups.
They run open mornings on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 12:30, giving visitors the opportunity to view equipment and receive advice and information.
Appointments system applies at all other times.
