Organisation:
Bt - Braille, Large Print & Talking Bill

Comment:

Telephone bills can be requested in large print, Braille, on computer disk or as a talking bills, where a BT advisor rings each quarter to read out the bill. When a customer requests a large print or Braille bill, a code is added to the persons details. A few days after the standard bill is printed and posted, Braille and large print bills will also be forwarded. The service is intended to enable people with sight difficulties to have greater privacy and control over their lives. Alternative ways to call are 'Call My Bill' on 0800-443311 or 'Paid My Bill' on 0800-150111 or phone 150 (but only if you're phoning from a BT phone). Generally the Age & Disability freephone helpline is easier to use.
