The Forest of Dean Childrens Opportunity Centre is a small registered charity which aims to support children and their families with special needs from birth or diagnosis until they are 5 years old. The centre provides family support, home visiting, drop in facility, parent support groups, parent + baby groups, play facilities and advice in an integrated setting. Sessions here can include specialist services such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapist and physiotherapist. Full portage service is provided. Also a full programme of holiday activities is provided, with some spaces available for children without special needs. Open all year.
