Amberley Ridge is a County maintained residential school with some day places for primary age children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). The school has places for forty seven children - 17 day pupils and 30 baorders on a 5 day boarding facility. The school aims to develop the full potential of the child. The school delivers the National Cirriculum in its entirety. The main ethos of the school is to provide for emotional development and growth. Children partake in nature groups, the social use of language programme and there are therapeutic opportunities. Children who have failed in mainstrem thrive at Amberley Ridge.
