These clinics are held several times each month. A thorough clinical examination is given by one of the family planning trained women doctors and then you will be shown how to look and feels your breasts yourself. By learning what is normal for you if a change should occur you will then be able to detect it at an aearly stage. Each woman is given a full 15 minute consultation which provides adequate time for questioning and for advice to be given. The Breast Awareness Clinic would encourage women of all ages to come along. Morning or evening appointments can be made. The clinic can provide additional information on all aspects of cancer prevention.
