The group exists to offer a chance for carers in the Cinderford area to meet and make friends with other people who understand their situation, be listened to and talk through problems. Occasional guest speakers are invited to speak on relevant issues. Help can be arranged for someone to sit with the person a carer is looking after so that they can get out to a meeting. Meetings are currently held in a local pub, pending possible merger with a new group starting in Coleford.
