Ellerslie House, run by Coverage Care Ltd, is dual registered with 15 nursing and 16 residential beds, mostly in single rooms. There are day care facilities for those in the nearby community. Facilities include 3 TV lounges, with a regular activities programme, including handicrafts. Residents can choose to retain their own GP and dentist. Optician, chiropodist and hairdresser visit regularly. Ecumenical and communion services are held and there is a Residents Committee. There is a new Day Centre which was built in October 2002 and is open 4 days a week where social activities take place and general socialising.
