Comment:

Formed in 1996, the group has around 70 members in Cam, Dursley, W.-u-Edge, Berkeley, Uley and surrounding areas. Members receive a LETS chequebook and and a directory of goods, services and items. Trading units are called 'peds' and transactions can be all peds, or a mixture of cash and peds. Range of things exchanged includes shopping, cleaning, DIY, vegetables (surplus), sewing, arts and crafts, tent hire, gardening and looking after animals - this list is by no means exhaustive.
