Fair Deal is for people living or working in the Forest who have difficulty getting or keeping employment due to stress, mental illness or emotional problems. Fair Deal intends to help people with mental health problems find work and stay in work. It is a partnership of organizations, working together with employers. Offers help with planning to find work, and to cope more effectively. Provides services such as support to identify employment objectives, mentoring, help with CV's etc., access to training, education and work experience. It is NOT a counselling service, does not provide therapeutic support or guarantee a job. People can refer themselves to the service or referrals may come from the following agencies: Social Services, Coleford House Hospital, DEA at ES, Glos. Assoc. for Mental Health, Forest Voluntary Action Forum, Taurus Crafts, Artspace, RFOD College, GP's, community mental health teams, Wotton Lawn hospital.
