Bay Tree Court was opened in January 1998. It's a purpose built home on levels, and is equipped to a high standard. The home is set in a cul-de-sac off the main road within the village of Prestbury, on the outskirts of Cheltenham. In village are shops, a church, post office, and bus stops that are all within walking distance of the home. There are 2 floors and there are lounges, sitting areas and a dining room on each floor. All the rooms have en suite facilities with either a shower or a bath. There are also assisted bathrooms and disabled toilet facilities. Some bedrooms look out onto a inner courtyard with sitting area(s). The home can accommodate 30 nursing places and 30 residential care places - a total of 60 places. It also has 8 flats and 3 bunglalows on site, available for purchase or rent. A warden is on duty from 9:30-2:30 daily and a 24 hour call out system for emergencies is in place. Services include: laundry, cleaning, care and use of the dining room in the main home.
