FORESIGHT, the Association for the Promotion of Preconceptual Care, is a Charity dedicated to promoting the idea of care for both parents prior to conception, to eliminate as far as possible health hazards to foetal health and development. Research is aimed at reducing hazards to foetal life in the environment and publications relating to alcohol, tobacco and many other aspects of preconceptual care are available. They have 32 local groups and produce a newsletter three times a year. There are books, booklets, a video and a poster. Hair analysis and supplement programmes can be obtained. The organisation stresses that they do not cater only for disabled people.
