EDA offer information about eating disorders and treatments available in each county in the UK; local support through a network of self-help and support groups and tailored training courses and publications for professionals in health, education and social care.
EDA provides national telephone helplines, the main Helpline - 0845 634 1414 operates Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 8.30pm, the Youthline for those aged 18 and under operates Mon - Fri, 4.00pm - 6.30pm, and for those who would like to listen to a recorded message 0906-302 0012 ( approx 8 mins/50p per min).
Membership includes leaflets about anorexia and bulimia nervosa and related eating disorders, details of treatment and help in your area and a quarterly magazine/newsletter.
EDA is also working proactively to improve standards of treatment and care.
