Organisation:
Commission For Racial Equality

Comment:

The Race Relations Act 1976 was passed to strengthen the law against racial discrimination ie. as an employee, a house-buyer, a school pupil, a tenant etc. If you think you have been discriminated against in any way covered by the Act, you may take legal action to secure redress. The Commission for Racial Equality may be able to help. It will give general advice on your case, and if you decide to proceed with a complaint, how best to present it. Can also put you in touch with an organisation who can assist or represent you.
