The Centre displays a large range of equipment and assistive technology. People with physical or sensory impairments can try them out, and get impartial and qualified advice from our Occupational Therapists. It is essential to telephone in advance for an appointment to visit the Centre. Nothing is on sale so there is no pressure to buy. If something helps, you may want to take away details of where & how it may be obtained. The type of equipment displayed at the Centre includes wheelchairs, stairlifts, hoists, etc. The Centre holds regular open days with a subject theme.
The Centre also provides a telephone information service where information can be sent by post, emailed, faxed, or telephoned to service users.
