The Dementia Care Trust is able to provide a Relief Carer for those who care for a person with dementia and mental illness. The Relief Carers are carefully chosen, all have had training from the Dementia Care Trust and have a genuine interest in working with people who have dementia and mental illness. Bi-lingual carers are available in the following languages: Chinese (Mandarin), Urdu, Bengali, and Gujarati and a BSL service is also available. A community rehabilitation service, advice service and counselling service are also available. This is a very flexible service, ranging from 4-5 hours per month upwards. Leaflets in 4 languages (as above) were produced in early 1999. Services include: Homeless outreach; Rapid Response Team; Luncheon Club;
