Set up in 1987, the AIDS and Housing Project offers a service to all agencies working in public or voluntary housing in the UK. Its aim is to help housing organisations provide good quality accommodation for people with HIV or AIDS. It has a coherent strategy to help achieve this, nationally. There are comprehensive policies and codes of practice on these issues. Consultancy and training are available and a number of relevant publications are produced. Recent publications include Building For Immunity, and a survey of tenants with HIV.
