The Association offers members a wide variety of services including: - over the board tournaments at home and in international events abroad, postal chess in braille, on cassette and by e-mail, discussion groups on tape, publications of the Gazette in braille, large print, on tape, by e-mail or on floppy disc. A library of chess publications, books and instructional material is available, free to members. A number of chess periodicals are available on tape, for which a small initial charge is made. The Braille Chess Association run a programme of Youth Development which includes reduced rate membership and other concessions for Uk residents under 21.
