Different Strokes is a new charity launched in 1996, formed by younger stroke survivors for the purposes of self help and mutual support. The charity aims to provide counselling services, accessible information packs before discharge from hospital, benefits and rights surgeries, advice and information on higher education, training and job opportunities and access to gyms, physiotherapy and swimming.
