CSRF has over 100 branches throughout Britain. Organised into locality groups who arrange social activities and outings for retired Civil Servants. Groups meet once a month, the dates vary but each Group meets on the same day each month. Object of the fellowship is to relieve the loneliness of old age where possible, visiting and support is given to those who are housebound. Level and type of activities vary from group to group. Provides a method of contact between the Civil Service Benevolent Fund and Social Services where appropriate.
