AbilityNet is a charity whose aim is to make the benefits of using computers available to disabled children and adults.
Through its national offices and regional partners, AbilityNet provides specialist help for people with a disability to enable them to use a computer at home, in education or in employment. They operate a freephone helpline on 0800-269545, available 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. In addition to answering telephone enquiries they can send factsheets on subjects ranging from product alternatives to sources of further help on a specific need. They also offer assessment opportunities, equipment supply and support, professional awareness training and services to employers.
