The Society works to promote greater awareness of dystonia within the medical profession and amongst the public, to aid diagnosis, to give welfare advice and support to people with dystonia and to help fund research into the cause(s) of the condition. A regular newsletter is published and available free to members. A nationwide network of local branches and area contacts provides support and encouragement. A parent support group links families for mutual support. Information and fact sheets available.
