The Association provides information, advice, counselling and support to those with Down's Syndrome, their parents, carers, students, interested professionals and others. It is a registered charity with branches and groups throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The above telephone number is manned Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is an answerphone at all other times, which gives an emergency number. Every year the Association sponsors new research projects which will enhance the lives of all those with the condition.
