The Society provides financial aid, an advice and information service, and raises funds for the support and encouragement into the causes, inheritance and management of brittle bone disease. Details of sources of accurate genetic advice are held. A specialised Occupational Therapist is available to visit families who can discuss the range of concerns that might arise such as education, shoes, bedding, equipment needs etc. There is also the opportunity to be put into contact with other families in a similar situation. Additional number 01382-204446. Some financial help is available for specialist equipment and aids for people with the condition as well as short to medium term loan of equipment.
