The Council serves as a national umbrella organisation made up of national, regional and local groups and organisations run and controlled by disabled people. Aims are to co-ordinate views of members through Conferences and Seminars. Newly formed organisations are fully supported and will advise if necessary. They will also provide a speaker on disability related issues to any organisation, and are trying to raise the issue of disability to one of Civil Rights. A minicom is available on 01332-295 581.
