Arthritis Care works with & for all people with arthritis to promote their health, well-being & independence, and is the UK's largest voluntary organisation working for such people. It provides a helpline service offering confidential support and information about arthritis. Phone lines are open weekdays between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on 020-7380-6555. A freephone helpline operates 12 noon to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday on 0808 8004050. There is a helpline (The Source) for young people under 26. The freephone number is 0808-808-200 (weekdays between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm), or e-mail them at [email protected].
A bi-monthly magazine, 'Arthritis News', is also published. This organisation also provides training courses and there are four hotels run by Arthritis Care.
