Rehab Scotland is a voluntary organisation providing vocational rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. Rehab Scotland's Aberdeen Brain Injury Vocational Service (BIVS) was established in 1994 to assist people with brain injury to reintegrate into the community and in particular to return to work. The aim of Aberdeen BIVS is to develop and implement a system of vocational assessment and rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries. This will include a detailed vocational assessment, information technology training within the Centre and redirection support to further education, training or employment.
