Outcomes is a new one-to-one service for people with learning difficulties. The service offers a wide range of activities, opportunities and support, dependent on the needs of the individual. Examples include:
sport and leisure;
support on college courses / school;
developing new interests;
finding employment;
accessing resources - libraries, etc;
meeting new friends;
liaison with social workers, day centres, health professionals, benefits agencies, etc.
Outcomes aims to provide services for people who don't want mainstream services, those who may be on a waiting list for day services, people who may require a service to be more flexible around times, days or specific activities and also people living in rural areas for whom day centres are not accessible.
Areas covered are Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, BANES, Bristol, North Somerset and Wiltshire.
