This new, purpose-built Day Centre was opened in June 1993, and caters for up to twenty four older people on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with the majority of members coming on just one day per week. Great use is made of local volunteers to provide a happy, informal day out. Most members are housebound and many live either on their own, or with their families to whom the Day Centre service gives a break.
