This organisation acts as a self help group for people who experience side effects from Cortico-Steroids. Its aims are:
to seek information about, and to stimulate research into steroid drugs, their uses, side effects and the illnesses for which they are prescribed;
to campaign for more open information between drug companies, GP's and patients regarding the risks of steroid treatment;
to make SAG known to all patients taking steroids and their Carers and to encourage information exchange and experience between members for comfort, help and advice.
