Organisation: Intensive Care Unit Charity

Comment:

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Charity was formed following pressure from relatives and friends of patients who wished to help with ICU work. The aim of the Charity is to help the NHS with the provision of Intensive Care facilities so that patients from Glos can receive the specialist care they need. The work of the ICU has expanded with a corresponding increase in the range of activities undertaken and facilities required. Much of the expensive equipment used on the Unit has been donated through the ICU Charity, which will continue to provide support for the patients.
