The Tyndale Centre offers a day hospital facility for older people with mental illness including those with dementia. The day hospital is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to older people with memory problems or dementia (from 10:00am to 3:30pm) and Fridays from 10:00am to 1:30pm. On Thursdays the hospital runs a group for younger people with memory problems and/or dementia. Referrals should be made to Dr. Richards, Consultant at Weavers Croft, Stroud. Transport can be arranged. Younger patients should be referred to Dr Sackett at Park House, Stroud.
A Carers Support Group meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm - for details see separate record for the Stroud Stroud and District Alzheimer's Group.
