The Wheatstone Day Hospice is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00am to 3:30pm offering care and support to anyone diagnosed with life threatening illness. They offer specialist palliative care, pain and symptom control as well as complimentary therapies and bereavement support. Also on offer is a range of activities, such as art, handicrafts etc. A local vicar visits once a week. Attendance at the Wheatstone Day Hospice will help form the continuing care closely linked with hospital and home.
