This is the Stroud group of the Macular Disease Society and their members have lost or are losing their central vision through Macular Disease. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at Christ Church, Nailsworth. They offer a supportive and caring atmosphere where people can discuss their sight problems and get the best advice on help available. They have interesting and relevant speakers, and visit visual aid resources centres, as well as enjoying days out, theatre visits (audio-described oerformances) and meals together.
Members are all senior citizens and are a friendly, sociable group.
