Saint Vincent's Centre (affiliated to Scope) is for people with Cerebral Palsy and other multiple disabilities from school-leaving age. They employ a high ratio of staff to members. All necessary nursing care is given in conjunction with professionals. They have a multi-sensory room which is in constant use and gives the more severely disabled members a chance to relax and receive one to one therapy. They also have an Insignis Powered Standing Frame. Craft work of all kinds is a very important part of the day for those members able to participate. This could include cooking, painting, working with fabrics or modelling clay. A hydrotherapy hot tub, computer room and specialised bathing and personal care facilities are also available. The members themselves choose what they would like to do and how they do it. The Centre gives support to all parents by helping with appointments where specialised transport is needed. They run two ambulances, one of which goes to Gloucester and surrounding district three times a week and one goes daily around Cheltenham and takes members on days out, eg to Riding for the Disabled. Their motto is "Richer Lives for Disabled People".
