The Magic Bean Company at Smartworks welcomes members from any part of Gloucestershire and is run by adults with mild learning disabilities as a self-sufficient enterprise. They aim to improve our working and living environment through three services: interior design service, Paint Magic (producing decorative and useful items for the home eg. furniture, trays, kitchen tools, clocks) and The Magic Bean Company producing boxes of homegrown organic vegetables and fruit for sale. Items are on sale at the Made in Stroud shop in central Stroud when available. The Magic Bean Company at Smartworks can also provide work experience on Mondays at the Cotswold Field Study Centre with transport provided from Bath Street at 10am.
