Organisation: Ichthus Breaking Free Centre

Comment:

The Breaking Free centre has been established to meet the needs of young girls nationwide, who are either accomodated/looked after by the local authority or are on the Child Protection 'At Risk' Register. The centre will work with those who, under the Housing Act 1996, are seen as vulnerable.

The centre gives young women the opportunity to experience independent living but with the benefit of a safety net and break the cycle of entering and re-entering local authority care. Continual assessment is provided along with support as and when needed. More details available by phoning the centre
