Comment:

The Davis Learning Foundation (DLF) is affiliated to the Davis Dyslexia Association International, whose aims are to increase worldwide awareness of the perceptual gifts, talents or potentials for genius that accompany and give rise to dyslexia and to offer effective methods for resolving the learning disability aspects of dyslexia.
The Davis approach is not based on tutoring or drill, but actually resolves the root causes of problems experienced by individuals with language-based learning difficulties. The Davis programme is explained in detail in the book, The Gift of Dyslexia, by Ron Davis. Dyslexia is seen as a gift, not a disability, and clients are shown 'tools' to use to overcome their symptoms of dyslexia.
The Facilitators are based throughout the UK and help children and adults with special educational needs, and specifically Dyslexia and ADD / HD. For a list of UK Facilitators, contact the DDA-UK, or use the links on their website.
