Asbestos Watchdog is made up of Asbestos Watchdog Limited and the Asbestos Watchdog Trust. Asbestos Watchdog Limited is a professional consultancy designed to people and organisations who believe they are ill advised about the management and removal of asbestos. The Asbestos Watchdog Trust is a not for profit company designed to help those individuals and organisations who cannot afford expensive surveys.
Asbestos Watchdog offers training for surveyors upgrading their competence so they can use more cost effective identification methods. They can also give asbestos awareness lectures.
Much of the confusion which has recently grown up over asbestos arises from scientific claims about its dangers which are controversial and open to question. Asbestos Watchdog has been set up to give clear, honest and reliable advice to all those concerned property owners and tenants who may be faced with the need to comply with that legislation. Its aim is to advise on how asbestos can be handled in a wholly safe and legal manner, at the lowest possible cost.
