The Refugee Legal Centre Hastings Office provides representation to persons who have made an initial claim for asylum. They provide representation at first stage asylum appeals before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (AIT). They provide initial advice and services to both detained and non-detained clients. Currently, it is not necessary to make an appointment .
They can assist with deportation matters, deportation appeals and in making bail applications and providing legal representations at bail hearings. They accept clients who directly approach them as well as referrals from local agencies.
The Refugee Legal Centre Hastings has wheelchair access via ramp and lift, but no toilet facilities for the disabled. Professional interpreters are available for all full client interviews. Please note all services are subject to available resources.
