Comment: | The Methodist and Parish Churches in Eastington joined forces to run a youth club. It takes place every Friday evening at the Methodist Church which is close to the centre of the village and caters for secondary school age children. Facilities exist to play a variety of different games and to take part in a range of different activities. The evening is split into two sessions - 7:00 to 9:00pm for those in school years seven and eight and 8:00 to 10:00pm for those in years nine to thirteen. During part of the evening, there is a section called God Byte during which a short Christian message or concept is put across, often supported by a game. Groups also go on day trips and weekends away, so there is much to do and much fun to be had. |
