Comment: | Sponsored by the British Army, the Army Cadet Force (ACF) provides challenging, adventurous and character building training for young people of both sexes between the ages of twelve and eighteen. The aim of the ACF is to inspire young people to achieve success in life and develop the qualities of a good citizen. There are ACF detachments in almost every town, run by carefully selected and trained adult volunteers dedicated to helping young people enjoy challenging and fun activities in their spare time.
