Comment: | The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is a UK healthcare association (founded in 1917). Its membership comprises both large and small businesses across the many non-pharmaceutical sectors of the healthcare industry, manufacturing, supplying and serving those with special physical needs and specialist healthcare areas too. The products they make and supply are varied and the BHTA is closely involved with developing industry and product standards, maintaining and improving on product choice, quality and, above all, safety. They produce a range of leaflets in the 'Get Wise' series to help the consumer with their choices.
