Comment: | The Bacon Theatre and Prince Michael Hall are two contemporary venues set in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Dean Close School, in Cheltenham. The Bacon Theatre completed in 1991, is Gloucestershire's newest theatre venue offering a full programme of events for the whole family including drama, dance, musicals, pantomime and film. They also run a festival of open air theatre events on site at the Tuckwell Amphitheatre over the summer. People of all ages with and without disabilities are welcome and every effort is made to ensure that any visit is as straight forward as possible. Tickets are available at concessionary prices for those with a disability and complimentary tickets are also available to anyone accompanying a disabled person. Facilities include level access to the theatres, reserved parking, wheelchair access and designated spaces for wheelchairs, can accommodate large parties, unisex adapted toilet with level access and handrail, hearing loops available, large print or audio brochures and information on request, one to one assistance if required and guide dogs welcome. |
