Comment:

Beechenhurst Lodge (formerly the site of Speech House Colliery) is now the ideal base for a family day out. It is also the starting point for the famous Sculputre Trail. The walk features sculptures by famous artists located along a forest trail through beautiful woodland. Other features include an adventure playground, cafe and giftshop, cycling and walks, school visits and picnic site and BBQ areas (several permanent BBQ stands free to use - Gas BBQ bookable for events). Some BBQ areas at Beechenhurst may also be booked for exclusive use.

Easy access sites are Soudley Ponds, Symonds Yat, Mallards Pike, the Cyril Hart Arboretum and Beechenhurst Lodge itself.
