Comment: | Gloucestershire Service User Forum is a project funded by Gloucestershire County Council to develop a forum of members who use social care services to ensure people are involved in the selection and training of social care staff and are consulted on the services they receive from Gloucestershire Community and Adult Care Directorate. This includes older people, people with a learning disability, people with a physical disability, sensory service users, people with mental health problems and any other adult.
Mencap and GOPA (Gloucestershire Older Persons Assembly) have been awarded the contract for this project. Samantha Hoad is the Co-ordinator and Mick Churchward (01452-313999) is the facilitator for GOPA.
