Work Opportunities (East)Team is a Gloucestershire Partnership NHS Trust project designed to help people recovering from mental health problems take steps towards getting back to employment. The Team look for projects across the East of Gloucestershire (Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Cotswolds areas). Most projects undertaken are for community or voluntary organisations, but the Team will do gardening and decorating for individuals or families as one off projects. Tasks undertaken so far include gardening and maintenance, tree planting, and helping in volunteer centres. The service provided is free of charge, but materials used are charged for at cost. There is a similar Team for the West of Gloucestershire, based in Gloucester (please see separate record)
