Comment: | KidsOut is a national charity that provides fun opportunities and life changing experiences for disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK. Established in 1990, the charity currently helps ober fifty five thousand children up to the age of eighteen, and their families, every year. KidsOut offers a confidential Helpline which provides information and a signposting service for help with respite care, special travel and holidays, fun days out or a listening ear when things get too much.
Grants are also available to help make life more fun for disadvantaged children. There are funds to help provide specialist equipment such as specially designed toys or play equipment, and financial help towards fun days out, holidays and respite breaks for both parents and children.
