Organisation:Guideposts Trust - Buddying Scheme

Comment:

The Guideposts Trust, who offer services for people with learning disabilities, now run a Buddying Scheme. A social group meets every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:30pm, with a range of different activities. The scheme is for sixteen to twenty five year olds, and they are also looking for volunteers of the same age group who can come each week and become 'buddies' with the young people. The aim is that they can then go out on a one-to-one basis and do leisure activities that they both enjoy.
